Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Preview

Coming out soon for the Sony PlayStation Portable is the game that is known as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The date at which this game is going to become available to you is on June 8th of this year. In this action game, that has been published by Konami, you need to try to keep the peace throughout the nation without the help of a military.

The following is a preview which has been given to the game:

“I have gotten into the habit of walking into game previews completely blind as of late. Call it tunnel vision, call it too much attention to games when they’re done and sent to me with a shiny plastic case, but I have not been keeping up with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker as much as my compatriots, and only made slight headway through the downloadable demo. But that did not stop me from attending Konami’s Peace Walker themed “Boot Camp” a few weeks back in San Francisco. Boy, was I in for a surprise.”

Make sure to check out this game again when the release dates is nearer.

December Hardware Sales

The following are the hardware sales from the month of December of 2009:

  • Wii — 3.81 million
  • DS — 3.31 million
  • PlayStation 3 — 1.36 million
  • Xbox 360 — 1.31 million
  • PSP — 654,7000
  • PlayStation 2 — 333,2000

“December marks just the fourth month of the year where the industry saw an increase over last year,” said NPD Group analyst Anita Frazier. “January and February were both up, and since the decline that began in March, only September experienced growth. The big sales this month, particularly on the hardware front, is a positive move for the industry headed into what will hopefully be a recovery year in 2010.”

With the Wii starting to add a lot of new features and also starting to promise a bunch of upcoming cool things, it is pretty self explanitory that the Nintendo Wii had the number one sales spot in the month of December. It is weird to see that the Nintendo DS is out selling both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. I guess the “console on the go” concept really attract in a lot of buyers. Also it is good to see that the PlayStation 2 is still getting a good number of buyers even considering there is a newer version.

There were also a lot of huge games that returned in this year including games from the series’ of Final Fantasy, Patapon and LocoRoco.
