Deal or No Deal: Around the World

Oberon Media’s publishing division and the world’s leading multi-platform casual games publisher, I-play made an announcement today. They announced the launch of Deal or No Deal: Around the World for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Deal or No Deal: Around the World will give players the experience of the hit game show from TV with even more realistic features than ever. The original theme music and sound effects will make players feel as though they are really on the show as they travel to Spain, Brazil, Thailand, Australia, Egypt, France, Japan and Bermuda to test their luck in hopes of choosing the right suitcase. There is a new and challenging banker mode which gives players the option to switch roles and play as the banker as they challenge the contestant to give in and walk away without the grand prize. Players who choose to play as the contestant will now enjoy more thrilling features. Some of these features include seeing the prize boards, getting advice from family members and debating about the banker’s offers. You also have the ability of a Bluetooth Connect feature that allows players to compete wirelessly with their friends & family. The integrated Facebook Connect feature lets players show off their high scores on the Deal or No Deal global leaderboard.
Deal or No Deal: Around the World is now available in the Apple App Store for $4.99.

World Poker Tour Texas Hold ‘Em for iPhone

Even though poker is definitely not as popular as it has been in the past, there are still many players and fans of this game who are still dedicated to it. Hands-On Mobile is coming out with a game for the iPhone called World Poker Tour Texas Hold ‘Em. This game will soon be debuting in the App Store. This game is complete with online multiplayer and persistent profiles. On the iPhone,  many features have been Incorporated with the iPhone’s touch screen including flicking the cards if you wish to fold and you can place your bet by sliding the virtual wheel.

The first thing that will happen when you begin a game will be that the announcer, Mike Sexton, will greet you. This really helps for you to get into the game like it is real. There are going to be a couple of recognizable players at the table. One of these famous poker players you will notice is Chris Ferguson. There are a couple modes you can play. One is a single player mode fitted with free play and uses the last man standing setting. However, the more exciting mode is the online multiplayer. Since you will not be able  to read their faces, you will have to find your own unique strategies to win. With the online multiplayer mode you will be able to chat with the other players. Another mode that will be available occasionally is live tournaments. This will be a way for you to really test your skills.

For any poker fans, I strongly recommend buying this interesting and exciting game.

Assassins Creed iPhone

I didn’t know anything about this until now, it’s release. Gameloft developed the app for the iPhone and it just released to the app store. There is apparently seen hours of gameplay on this small little application. Whether it will consist of the same eagle spot climbs, spying, pickpocketing, and endless sword to sword battles that you win no matter how outnumbered you are, is to me, a mystery. I hope this doesn’t continue on the app.

Assassins Creed: Altiars Chronicles is going to put you in the shoes of Altiar again for some epic quest that will apparently end the crusades by stealing a simple chalice from the templars. This seems to be one of the more promising iPhone games that I’ve heard of, but we’ll see how the graphics and interface of the hit video game transfer over to the mobile platform. Get pumped for Assassins Creed II. It’s starting to look pretty amazing.
