Fragile Alliance Mode in Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days

In the original game of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, there was a popular multiplayer mode that was called “fragile alliance.” This mode received great reviews and a lot of popularity. When the sequel to this game was eing made there was no doubt that this mode would be a part of it. Some improvements in the mode were completed.

The following is a preview of the “fragile alliance” mode from Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days:

“The potential for someone going traitor is always there, whether it be your teammates or yourself. If you do decide to go traitor, you could hang back and silently assassinate teammates — just make sure no one sees you do it. Or you can grab a human shield, keeping your teammates from shooting you by making it crucial for them not to accidentally shoot the buddy being used as a shield. If a teammate shoots a teammate, he can turn traitor, and the guy who gets wounded has a certain amount of time to get his revenge on the shooter without becoming a traitor himself thanks to a function called “yellow card.”

Iron Man 2 Review

Recently released for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 is the game Iron Man 2. The date that this game came out was on May 4th. This game, that has been published by SEGA, is based off of the famous movie. In playing this game, you will be able to better experience the power that Iron Man has.

The following is a review that has been given to this game:

“The combat system is, likewise, well-conceived but joylessly executed. Iron Man’s attack powers are split between his left and right hands. You can assign two different weapon types to each side and change them on the fly by pressing the D-pad. Combat is built around a rough lock-on mechanic. In theory, it works like it would in most games: when locked onto an enemy, a translucent blue circle surrounds them and a green health meter is intertwined. The problem is that it’s impossible to hit a moving target with standard attacks, which renders it fairly useless, since lock-on mechanisms are designed to hit non-stationary enemies.”

Little Big Planet 2 Preview

Releasing only for the console of the Sony PlayStation 3 is the game Little Big Planet 2. The date at which this game will be available for gamers has not been figured out yet but it is known that it will be some time at the end of this year. This game, that has been developed by Media Molecule, is a sequel to a game which was played by a lot of people.

The following is a preview that has been given to the game:

“So Little Big Planet 2, which Evans and Healey revealed at the event (in pre alpha form), is not a major departure from its predecessor – no “reboots” here. Rather than revamp the first game, Media Molecule is building on the Little Big Planet foundation, making the Little a bit bigger. Sackboy’s still here, as are the stickers and the Popit level creation interface. Little Big Planet 2 will even maintain backward compatibility with all those Little Big Planet 1 levels – in fact, they’ll look just a tad crisper and shinier with Little Big Planet 2’s refined graphics engine.”

Make sure to look into this game when the date that it will come out gets closer as there will be more details by then.

Activision Releases for the Year

Most gamers have come to get to know Activision. Since they have come out with all kinds of different music games, they often find people waiting for more. Coming up in the fall of this year, two games, that might just interest you, have been sey to release. The two games of Guitar Hero 6 and a second DJ Hero game have been decided that they will be releasing in the fall.

The number of games that Activision has decided to come out with in a year was decreased by a lot in this last year. The great success that their games have had has led to different decisions being made as to how many games need to come out in a year. In the upcoming season this year of the fall, Guitar Hero 6 is going to be released and then the second DJ Hero game has been given a release date that will be just shortly after the release of Guitar Hero 6.

Here is what Activision had to say about their upcoming games, they include “more great original music, new and innovative gameplay modes and a significantly enhanced social gaming experience and plenty of downloadable content.”

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Preview

Coming out soon for the Sony PlayStation Portable is the game that is known as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The date at which this game is going to become available to you is on June 8th of this year. In this action game, that has been published by Konami, you need to try to keep the peace throughout the nation without the help of a military.

The following is a preview which has been given to the game:

“I have gotten into the habit of walking into game previews completely blind as of late. Call it tunnel vision, call it too much attention to games when they’re done and sent to me with a shiny plastic case, but I have not been keeping up with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker as much as my compatriots, and only made slight headway through the downloadable demo. But that did not stop me from attending Konami’s Peace Walker themed “Boot Camp” a few weeks back in San Francisco. Boy, was I in for a surprise.”

Make sure to check out this game again when the release dates is nearer.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Coming out for the many consoles is the game, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The consoles it will be releasing for include the Nintendo Wii, the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Portable, the Xbox 360 and also the PC. This game, that has been published by Ubisoft, is going to be available to gamers starting just a few weeks from now on the day of May 18th, 2010.

The following is a review that has been given to the game, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, specifically for the Wii version:

“Speaking of smooth, the game’s engine runs at a slick 60 FPS, and this first level took full advantage of it as the surrounding environment cracked and crumbled all around the Prince. There was a great bit of destruction in one of the later levels where I had to actually run up the side of crumbling tower, jumping between the tower and a solid wall, in order to reach the topmost platform. Yeah. It was kind of rad.”

Make sure to look into more details regarding this game when the date of May 18th, starts to come nearer and nearer.
