Nintendo has come out with yet another inovation. While both Microsoft and Sony were proud to show off their new ideas and promises for action sensing cameras like the Wii already has, Nintendo went on to the next step. The new Wii Vitality Sensor is able to monitor your pulse and “other things inside you”. What could this mean? If your heart beat it lower your guy on the screen may not breath loud enough for opponent to hear versus when you move and get anxious your guy will make a bit more natural noise. It could also lead to a more real shooter. If you’re anxious, your gun will be quite a bit more shaky. If you’re relaxed you should be able to get that headshot you’re aiming for.
The sensor plugs right into your Wiimote and you’ll be off playing in no time. Hopefully this is an effective way of doing it as all systems will have this in a matter of time. Look for this to be on the Xbox 360 and PS3 by the end of 2011 if not sooner. Any of you guys with Wii’s out there be sure to let me know what you think of this as I won’t get a chance to try it out until it comes out on the Xbox 360, when Microsoft get around to it.
